Kings Church started in 2005 with a small group of people who came together to dream about how to reach a town and a nation for God. With a passion to build a local church that was both contemporary & credible, Kings’ first meeting took place in a local community centre and was the start of an incredible journey.

Over the past five years, Kings has grown quickly into a thriving church with a vision to reach and equip people to live out their potential and live life to the full. Many people think that church is dull and irrelevant, and sadly their views are not always mistaken. ‘Church’ today is often so far from what it’s meant to be – a place teaming with life, enthusiasm and purpose. But that’s the kind of church we want to introduce you to….

Senior Pastors Derek and Georgina Smith are born and bred in Bolton with over 20 years in leadership and ministry. They are passionate about empowering people to be all they can be. With a contagious enthusiasm for life, their ministry is all about drawing the potential out in people and connecting them with their destiny.
